The O’Hanlon Art Center featured my poem as part of their Art & Poetry collection. The show was juried by Marin poet Prarthro Sereno. Sereno selected 32 pieces of art and photographs out of 128 entries, focusing on visuals that would inspire poets to write a poem about each piece.
I wrote the accompanying poem as a response to Bob Hemstock’s photograph “Sisters on The Trail to Mt. Everest, Nepal, 1976”.

Presenting:
what do I know of joy
